New Touch-Screen Infotainment System from BMW

According to the report, BMW will offer a new infotainment Touchscreen system soon.

Autocar reports that the innovation technology will have an influence on the car’s designs inside, but not with as flat dashboard as the Tesla’s is. Chief of BMW Group design shared with the magazine that the company’s designers do not want to see the big flat surface of a touch-screen. They are aiming at flexible screens. According to the director, BMW’s designers dream about a smooth integration between screen and shape.

Judging from his words, there will be a transition period when the rotary-controller and the touch-screen control will be functioning. The director also told that head-up display will contribute into that. All these innovations will help to modernize the interiors too.
