Meet the R8, RS7 Performance and S8 Plus from Audi this November
Audi has announced about 3 offerings that are going to be presented in America at this year’s Auto Show held in Los Angeles. The event will happen sometime later in November.
The Audi R8 will headline the American presentations. It is the second-gen model. Meanwhile, the latest RS7 performance will be introduced in L.A. The S8 plus is going to strengthen the automaker’s position in the high-end sedan segment. This vehicle will rock new exterior styling details and a beefy 4.0-litre twin-turbo eight-cylinder engine. The engine is able to output the excess of 600 hp.
The 2017 Audi R8 is acknowledged to be the most powerful and the fastest Audi model ever. The Audi R8 and R8 LMS race vehicles were created together. The cars under consideration share nearly 50% of the details. The ten-cylinder engine is also shared by them. The R8 will reach the market next spring. It will receive power from a 5.2-litre ten-cylinder engine generating 540 hp or 610 hp.
The innovated RS7 performance will sport 605 hp. We see it as a significant power increase, as the current RS7 has only 560 hp. The model received stunning RS design changes. Therefore, it looks sportier and refined.
The chief of product management for the company in America says that the Audi Sport and performance offerings have always been a special part of the company’s character. The maximum of premium design, Audi performance and technology were developed for the clients along with the Audi R8, S8 plus and RS 7 performance.
