Images of 2016 Audi R8 Appeared Before the Motor Show in Geneva

See the 2016 Audi R8 ahead of its official presentation at the Motor Show in Geneva.

This is the first time when the picture of a production variant has leaked without camouflage after the earlier spy images of the innovated Audi R8. The presentation of 2016 Audi R8 is one of the most awaited debuts. It will probably receive a much more angular front end. The sports vehicle featuring side blades are remarkably missing.

The R8 of next generation has the same platform as the Lamborghini Huracán. The model is rumoured to be regular with an innovated 4.0-litre twin-turbo eight-cylinder powertrain generating 460 hp and torque of 369 lb-ft. All these details hint for a fine ‘ol ten-cylinder which will be able to choose between two power outputs. The lesser 5.2-litre ten-cylinder generates 540 hp and torque of 398 lb-ft. At the same time the more powerful option is able to produce 600 hp and torque of 413 lb-ft. The R8 is expected to be nearly 130 lbs lighter that the previous model.
