Get Volkswagen Golf R Variant in Germany from 42,925 euro

After the vehicle’s presentation at the 2014 Auto Show, it is possible to obtain the model starting from €42,925 in Germany.

The all-round model is actually a combination of a hot-tempered wagon and a sports car since it is capable of carrying 605 litres of tank capacity in its rear part. At the same time the front can produce 300 hp (or 221 kW) and torque of 380 Nm (280 lb-ft). Such an output is possible due to a 2.0-cylinder turbo powertrain which is joined to a six-speed dual-clutch gear box. The transmission sends power to both axles with the help of the 4MOTION four-wheel drive system.

The Golf R Variant is equipped with a sport chassis and sits 20mm lower than the regular variant. The vehicle needs only 5.1 seconds to reach 62 mph (or 250 km/h) from a standstill. The electronically-caped to speed is 155 mph (or 250 km/h). The hot offering is powerful and practical indeed. Moreover, the wagon is economical. It consumes only 7 litres / 100 km (40.3 mpg UK or 33.6 mpg US). The vehicle’s emits of CO2 reach 163 g/km.

The model comes as a regular one with a big amount of various equipment, for example: spot seats, touchscreen display, bi-xenon headlamps with daytime running lights from LED and automatic climate control system. Besides all these innovations, it will be possible to add a Carbon Style Nappa leather set at an additional cost.

Volkswagen Golf R Variant’s deliveries will start in spring in Europe.
