Get ready to buy Plum Crazy Charger or Challenger from Dodge for 2016

Dodge brings back its prominent heritage shade Plum Crazy on the Charger and Challenger only for one year.

The new purple colour will be presented on the vehicles at this weekend. The event will take place at the Woodward Dream Cruise. The automaker assures that the shade under consideration is one of the most often wanted hues for its vehicles. Moreover, it has been one of them since it emerged back in 1970.

The customers will have an opportunity to order Plum Crazy Chargers and Challengers starting from this September. Though, it will work only for those clients who have already purchased a vehicle. As for all the rest, they will have a chance to order a Dodge’s purple car in October. Only 2016 model year will allow ordering such cars.

Speaking about the 2016 Charger, the colour under consideration can be obtained on the R/T, SXT, SRT 392, Hellcat and Scat Pack. As to the Challenger, the special shade can be ordered on the R/T, Scat Pack, STX, Hellcat, Shaker and SRT 392.

Considering the fact that the Charger and Challenger turned back to the market nine years ago, only 11% of all the produced vehicles are coloured in a hue with limited edition. This fact makes the cars very collectable. Happy owners obtained scant 7,460 units of this colour starting since 2006.
