An S8 facelift was showcased sometime this week in Ipanema Brown Metallic. Currently a second generation R8 V10 Plus is being presented in Vegas Yellow colour. Get a better look at the developmental and sharpened design!
This offering of a high class costs €187,400. It comes with a whole bunch of enhancements in comparison with the regular R8 V10 which costs €165,000. The vehicles are equipped with the same 5.2-litre V10 FSI engine. Though, the regular variant generates 540 hp and torque of 540 Nm. The Plus version outputs 610 hp and torque of 560 Nm sent to a quarto all-wheel drive system with the help of a seven-speed S tronic transmission. The latest model has also lost significant weight which now is 3,205 lbs (or 1,454 kg). We remind you, that the standard version weighs 3,428 lbs (or 1,555 kg).
As usual, the offering has carbon ceramic braking system. Also it received clear-layered carbon fibber front splitter, side blades, diffuser, CFRP (carbon fibber reinforced plastic) rear wing and 20-inch wheels. Speaking about the vehicle’s performance, it must be mentioned that the supercar from Ingolstadt is able to speed 62 mph (or 100 km/h) in 3.2 seconds. Its top speed is 205 mph (or 330 km/h).
The automaker has stated that sales of the R8 V10 Plus and R8 V10 will start this summer. The fully electric R8 e-tron will kick off sometime later this year.
