Expect the New... Font from Volkswagen

Volkswagen is going to change their old font and use a new one.

The automaker’s typeface is well-known as “Volkswagen-Text”. It replaces the old “VW Utopia” font. At the same time, Volkswagen OT will be replaced by Volkswagen Head. Xavier Chardon reveals that it was created by MetaDesign, an outside agency. This font will be seen inside and outside the vehicle. Moreover, the automaker will use it on the brochures too.

The font was described as featuring dynamic contrast, less geometric and more up-to-date. The famous German automaker says that they took inspiration for the font from their distinctive car design. The producer assures that this new font will be principally visible on all Volkswagen-related things.
