Envisioning of the Next-Gen Mitsubishi Lancer

The latest Mitsubishi Lancer has been virtually rendered by Enoch Gonzales, a design student.

The envisioning shows a little bit larger and more aggressive model than the current one. The new car has Mitsubishi’s “dynamic shield” front fascia with numerous chrome details. The big radiator enclosure is gone.

We did not even expect to see a successor of the Lancer anytime soon, but Don Swearingen, the Mitsubishi North America executive vice president, confirmed earlier in June that the automaker is developing the car. Don’t flip out, we still will not see the new offering 18 to 24 months even if everything is according to the producer’s plan.

The executive vice president shared that they are running parallel as they cannot wait any more to see if a partnership is successful. If it meets with a reverse, then the automaker will be one more year behind.
