Digital Rendering of Ferrari 488 GTB Speciale

Cavalino Design has showed two envisioning of a possible Ferrari 488 GTB in the appealing Speciale outlook.

Ferrari presented the 458 Seciale in August two years ago as a lighter and more powerful variant of the 458 Italia. The naturally aspirated 4.5-litre eight-cylinder powertrain generates 35 hp (or 26 kW) more with which the output bumps to 605 hp (or 445 kW) at 9,000 rpm. The torque remained 540 Nm (or 398 lb-ft) at 6,000 rpm. The body weighs 90 kg less (1,290 kg).

The 488 GTB weighing 1.370 kg was introduced online with a 3.9-litre V8 twin-turbo powertrain last week. It can produce 650 hp (or 445 kW) and torque of 760 Nm (or 560 lb-ft).Therefore, a potential 488 GTB Speciale variant will be capable of even more, maybe even 700 hp (or 515 kW). The body will be more aggressive. It can be seen in the attached envisioning. There will be a vented hood, more aerodynamic side skirts and front fenders. The larger rear end will be equipped with additional vents, famous diffuser, and carbon fibber spoiler lip. Moreover, the model will have four exhaust tips while there are only two pipes in it.

The 448 GTB has not been presented officially yet, so it will probably takes several years before a more potent variant with the Speciale index will be launched.
