BMW shows off 40 Years Edition of 320d xDrive Touring

BMW has presented the special 40 Years Edition. It was developed for the 320d xDrive Touring offering.

The car can be obtained in Japan and Italy. There are only 100 units available. The model under consideration is supposed to present the evolution of the 3-Series starting from the launch of the first offering in the series. Thirty years ago the 3-Series was sold as a two-door sedan. It was equipped with a rear-wheel drive set-up and petrol engine. As to the 40 years Edition, it rides with a diesel 4x4 unit.

Each one from the 100 cars will benefit from the M Sport set with 19-inch alloy wheels and more effective braking set-up. There also will be sporty bumpers and Tanzanite blue metallic body paint. Inside the vehicle you will find a sports helm and piano black accents on the facia panel.

A 2.0-litre diesel engine provides 190 hp (or 140 kW). It is joined to an eight-speed automatic transmission having helm-mounted paddle shifters. All four wheels receive the power with the help of an xDrive system.
