4-Wheel Drive and DSG Automatic for Skoda Octavia RS TDI
Skoda has filled its Octavia RS line-up with a 4-wheel drive variant and automatic transmission.
The 4x4 technology can be obtained for the RS TDI version. It is able to deliver power to every wheel depending on each driving case. This is said to lead to truly impressive feeling while driving. Besides, the automaker promises a high level of active safety.
The RS TDI is equipped with a 2.0-litre diesel engine generating 184 hp (or 135 kW). It can be joined to a six-speed DSG automatic dual-clutch transmission. In such case, their combined consumption of fuel will stand at 4.92/100 km coinciding with CO2 emissions of 129 g/km. Its peak torque is 380 Nm (or 281 lb-ft) between 1,750 and 3,250 rpm. The vehicle can accelerate 0-60 mph in 7.6 seconds. It reaches 142 mph as its top speed.
The Octavia RS TDI 4x4 can boast its technological tweaks which belong to the regular RS. They include progressive steering, lots of assistance systems developed for comfort and safety and electronic differential lock XDS+.
