20th Volkswagen's facility in China

Volkswagen has opened its new producing factory in Southern China.

We counted and came to the conclusion that this is the automaker’s 119th facility. It is 20th in China. The country is the company’s biggest and most significant market around the globe.

The factory is capable of building 300,000 cars annually. Volkswagen and Skoda offerings are going to be assembled at the factory. The facility is situated in 560 miles to the west from Shanghai.

The factory will give nearly 4,000 jobs and even more than that at the adjoining supplier park.

The company’s latest factory should be fairly green. The company will reduce the consumption of energy and water since they will collect rain and use solar power. The factory is going to be carbon neutral.
