Volkswagen Touran Detected by Paparazzi, American Release is Possible

A production-version prototype of the next-gen model hit the spy cameras during a testing in Europe.

At first sight the compact MPV does not differ much from the current modification, but in reality the alternations are rather crucial. For instance, the VW-specific MQB platform has performed a 220-lbs weight loss for the vehicle. Seventh generation of Golf is to supply some of its best petrol and diesel propulsions and even a separate variation of 4Motion drive called Cross Touran has been designed for the car.

Speculations have it that the American customers will also get access to third-gen Volkswagen Touran. Whether they are true or not, the model will debut not earlier than in third quarter and be shipped to dealerships without a long delay.
