Viper from Dodge: Another Delay
SRT Viper of this model year got postponed once again while the sales are increasingly falling.
Having started the assembly two weeks ago since the April halt, the management was forced to repeat the measure. It affected the Conner Avenue site which will idle for another two weeks. Back in spring more than 90 factory employees were temporarily dismissed and now only a dozen less workers have got an unplanned vacation.
As it has been announced, the resumed work will be conducted in the same volumes, however, it may lead to a similar situation again. Next year’s Viper will get to the dealerships with Dodge nameplate, which is an opportunity for the vehicle to attract customers using a renowned name.
