US Release of 4x4 2015 BMW 2 Series

Price tags of next year’s BMW 228i start from $33,000 and $1,800 more open an opportunity for 4x4 xDrive derivative. Powertrain of choice in it is a V4 turbo with the volume of 2.0 litres developing 240 hp and torque of 255 lb-ft. High-spec M235i variant costs initially $11,000 more, but the price of 4WD stays the same for it - $1,800.

Motor of the powerful M235i is also turbocharged, but holds a pair more cylinders and displacement increased by 1 litre. Output of such a modification totals 80 hp and 75 lb-ft more. Summer release is planned for 2015 BMW 2 Series with 4x4 modifications arriving at the same time.
