UK Market to Expect Lancer Evolution X FQ-440 MR from Mitsubishi

A novelty will soon appear at the UK market in the form of Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X FQ-440 MR.

The release of the exclusive UK edition will commemorate four happy decades of the Japanese brand at the British market. Company plans to adorn the car in pure white colour, supply it with bi-xenon headlamps and put it on alloy wheels 18 inches in diameter.

Designers of the car decided to leave the interior quite standard, so buyers can expect leather in upholstery and steering wheel wrapping, as well as GPS and advanced audio.

Under the bonnet one will find a turbo V4 for 2.0 litres and powerful fuel injectors combined with high-function control unit. Other peculiar details of the engineering content include modifications of intake, piping and exhaust systems. Such a well-thought powertrain allows the car to make decent figures of 400 bhp and torque of 412 lb-ft. The final touch to the vehicle’s stunning potential is given by the dual-clutch gearbox for six speeds.

The engineers of the special edition also took care of performance equipping the model with efficient brakes and low suspension. FQ-440 MR also features a kind of data memory unit keeping track of various driving characteristics as well as monitoring the car’s state and location.

Those 40 lucky customers who manage to get the special edition will have to pay at least £50,000.
