Toyota with the Heart of Mazda2 to be Produced

Company’s plans to produce its modification of Mazda2 include Skyactiv motors.

A Mexican spokesperson of Mazda has claimed in an official report that the brand will offer some help to the fellow-country carmaker, but the engine will definitely remain authentic. It is already known that Mazda2 variant from Toyota will have alternations both outside and inside.

Not much information is provided by Toyota, which gives a fertile ground for rumours. One of them implies that the American market will see a replacement for Yaris. Nevertheless, at least the dates are clear: the model will hit the assembly lines in mid-2015 at a Mexican site of Mazda. The plant is expected to finish 50,000 cars a year.
