Toyota Avalon Reveals Faulty Airbags
A recall will be conducted for 2003 and 2004 Avalon models sold in America as a result of malfunctioning airbags.
The root of the problem seems to lay in electrical noise which can damage other exposed wired elements. Almost 120,000 cars may react to such a defect by automatic springing of airbags and deployment of seat belt protection mechanism.
Toyota has found the solution to the flaw: a simple adding of filters will be a suitable means against it. The affected customers will be notified and serviced in dealerships.
