The Problem with Control Component Recalled Chrysler Recalls 184K SUVs

Chrysler recalls 184K SUVs because of the occupant countersteering control.

The Dodge Durango and Jeep Cherokee of 2014 have got the same problem. It is caused by short circuit in the control component which is responsible for detecting a person in the front seat. In case if the front seat passenger is not detected, the safety bag light will warn the driver and the additory fixation system (safety bags and seat belts) may be out of order.

Chrysler has no information about clashes or injuries which were caused by this problem. Local dealerships will change the component chargeless.
