Tennessee Site for Volkswagen Crossover

Volkswagen is soon going to get one crossover more in its line-up and has already disclosed the location of production facilities.

Mass media mention that Chattanooga plant was given preference by the German brand over the Mexican site. There are certain factors influencing the final decision of the carmaker, such as favourable taxes, no rent and promises of the new equipment from the American side.

Meant for model year 2016, the seven-seat vehicle will appear in dealerships next year. Great expectations are vested into it to stimulate success in North America. Crossover was previewed as a diesel hybrid concept.

Sales gradually fell in the USA for Volkswagen. Midsize vehicle attempt also did not go as well as expected. The only hope is the new product which will be exclusively American.
