Rear Control Arms Instigated a Recall of Porsche 918 Spyder
Expensive exotics have their faults rarely, but right on target.
Recalling of the Porsche 918 Spyder happened because of its rear-axle control arms issue. The German company recalled five issues which were produced from the beginning of May till the middle of June in 2014. The notice about this recall is not detailed enough, but the company disclosed that the control arms could eventually break what could cause difficulties with the vehicle control.
The owners who were influenced with this issue will be notified by Porsche. Porsche’s dealerships will inspect and change the problematic control arms for free, but the notification schedule has not been reported yet.
