Interpretation of 2017 X2 Sports Activity Coupe from BMW

X line-up of the German brand will welcome a newcomer in 3 years - Sports Activity Coupe, shortened as SAC. Most of the design cues on the next product will come from the newest F48 X1, however, a peculiar roofline is going to be borrowed from massive SUVs.

Interpretation made for outlook forecast features a front and a rear projection of the vehicle as it might look like. Three-door variant seen at the picture may actually be accompanied by a five-door offering as one of modifications.

V4 will rule the powertrain space, with both gasoline and diesel mills planned. Two gearbox kinds will accompany the array: a manual for six speeds and a separately offered automatic for eight speeds. Less diversity is to be expected from the drive layout as the carmaker confirmed that xDrive 4WD would be the only variant.
