Ford Became the Second Best-Selling Brand in 2013

Last year brought Ford the second place in the annual U.S. Top Buzz rating.

While in summer of 2013 the carmaker seemed to be a confident leader in the rankings, closer to the end of the year still madly popular Amazon gained the needed advantage to win the title of the best brand. Among automakers, however, Ford came first.

U.S. marketing representative of the brand states that the whole year was quite successful, and December 2013 became a pinnacle of it. The sales of practically every model in the lineup increased steadily and coastal markets played their important role in it.

The total “buzz score” of the American company is 29.6. Toyota scored only 19.5 and came second. Another Japanese brand – Honda – was very close to it with only 0.1 points less. Top five of carmakers is closed by Chevrolet and Volkswagen.
