Fire-Connected Recalls of More than 26,000 Volkswagen Cars
Inflammation became the greatest concern of Volkswagen and forced for a massive recall.
Misery loves company: the proverb has never been more topical for the German brand which has conducted a temporary sales cease of four models recently. Now the core of the problem is found and seems to be stemming from the danger of transmission fluid inflammation. All the recalled cars sport turbo engines and automatic gearboxes with malfunctioning seals that can eventually cause a dangerous leakage.
Thankfully, the found defect did not lead to any incidents with the affected cars. The company refers to owners in order for them to contact their dealership for O-ring change.
