Eos and Routan in the Focus of Volkswagen Discontinuation Plans

2015 is not a secret anymore with Volkswagen coming into open.

Eos will get the last chance to show itself before cancellation, rendered in Final Edition variant. Instead of the Sport modification the customers will get wheels 18 inches in diameter, smart windscreen wipers, lavish leather upholstery in two schemes with contrasting seams and a rearview camera in the cabriolet. 2014 model year was a chance not used by Routan which will wave goodbye with this final modification.

Not a facelift, but a full-fledged new model will be offered by the German brand to its Touareg. It is already known that some external and internal design elements are going to be refreshed, and the drivers will be aided by a range of technologies. The rest of specifications will be made public as the debut date will approach.

Next year’s Beatle will become a happy owner of V4 TDI mill of EA288 type. Being slightly more productive – namely, developing 150 hp – the vehicle is actually going to be more fuel economizing with EPA figures showing a 2-mpg increase to 41 mpg. Classic design package will show off in limited numbers adopting innovative upholstery and steering wheel, extra-comfortable seats, a couple of cab trifles, colourful lighting, the latest navigation solution and automatic gearbox for six speeds.
