Drag racing has also been present in the activities Challenged was used in, and now Mopar has presented its update kit for the next year’s vehicle.
The car has unofficially debuted on the track this week presenting a race engine with aluminium elements and other performance perks. Gearbox has been supplied to the vehicle by the parent Chrysler. Peculiar to the car is the usage of aluminium, for it can also be found at a driveshaft. As for the weight box, it has been placed into the boot.
Wheels of 2015 Dodge Challenger are somewhat compact – only 15 inches in diameter, but its is a standard of drag racing, considering their wrapping of so much needed tyres, with the rear ones reaching 30 inches. The interior has also been renovated: special light seats have been installed, safety has been increased by the use of safety nets and reinforced roll cage.
Challenger Drag Pak of the current era is considered to be the sole massively produced auto to gain some important titles in its domain.
Model prepared for the official reveal – which is to take place this weekend in America – is still a prototype. The date of the sales release has not been made public yet.
