BMW Names the New CEO
BMW revealed the name of new CEO replacing Norbert Reithofer.
Norbert Reithofer who is 58 ran BMW since 2006 will leave his post before the expiration of the contract in 2016 to take place of Joacim Milberg, who is 71, as director of the supervisory board. Harald Krueger, who is 49 will replace the former CEO. He will resign as the director of manufacturing to become chief executive in May of the next year.
The company stated earlier today that this decision indicates an initiative of a generation change at the heart of the board management.
Analysts of the industry look appropriate on the early change choice since it will enlighten the future way for the automaker.
