Auction for 575 GTZ Zagato from Ferrari
Containing not much visual beauty, the Ferrari 575 GTZ Zagato will become one of the lots at the Festival of Speed.
The car waiting for the most generous customer was inspired by 575M model and the 1956 250 GTZ. The latter let Zagato use the concept of its body parts of aluminium.
Yoshiyuki Hayashi, a car enthusiast from Japan, became the owner of the first custom-designed Ferrari 575 GTZ Zagato which debuted at a special competition in Italy. The original model was followed by five more vehicles that allegedly cost $2 million each.
The state of the auction car remains unknown; nevertheless, the Ferrari team hopes the vehicle will not fall in bad hands.
