2 Series Active Tourer from BMW Unveiled

The brand new car has officially premiered at the Geneva booth showing off its powerful front-wheel drive choice.

BMW 2 Series Active Tourer echoes the recently released MINI Cooper in terms of platform solution and has common features with Mercedes B-Class. Three engine options will be offered. Petrol range is presented by V3 for 1.5 litres making 136 hp and a more powerful V4 for 2.0 litres developing 231 hp. Diesel variant is in the middle with its 150 hp and torque of 243 lb-ft.

The first version of the crossover will seat maximum five people, but the model of the next year will find place for two more passengers. In 2016 BMW 2 Series Active Tourer might be shipped to North America, but this information still remains in the domain of guesses.
