Toyota Supra Might Be Presented at Auto Show in Detroit

2014 Auto Show in Detroit might host a new Toyota concept of Supra model.

Various official and unofficial sources have been indicating the debut of Toyota Supra for several years, and it finally starts to look true. The last concept was presented by the Japanese carmaker in the USA in 1998, but today national sources intrigue with announcements about a new concept model to be exhibited in Detroit.

The company itself does not comment on the rumours, but there are hints in the press that the new Supra will be a hybrid car with as much as 400 hp, which will make it a serious competitor to Honda’s Acura NSX.

The new model, naturally, might borrow a lot from FT-HS announced by Toyota in 2007. Production of the successor of Supra could begin earlier if it were not for Long Recession.
