2015 Hyundai Genesis Sedan Arriving at 2014 Detroit Auto Show

Hyundai will reveal its brand-new 2015 Genesis model next year during the 2014 Detroit Auto Show.

When it does, the automaker will reveal the next generation in its line of luxury sedans meant to compete German brands. During the same event earlier this year, Hyundai unveiled its HCD-14 Genesis model, which despite the name is said not to be a direct preview of the fresh sedan. Instead, it was a look at design details to be added to the brands next units.

Brandon Ramirez, senior group head of product planning, informed Carsbase that the fresh Genesis sedan will be revealed next year in Detroit but didn’t suggest any details on the new vehicle.

Despite that, enhanced interior materials will need to be the top of the brand’s priority list to rival with Audi, BMW and Mercedes. All-wheel drive is something else the Genesis sedan recently disregards but would do well to adopt for snowy conditions.
