2014 Toyota Corolla Front End Teaser

The brand-new Toyota Corolla carries on its slow strip tease as the automaker has just presented a new teaser photo of the vehicle revealing the front end.

Toyota has already unveiled a part of the taillight on the 2014 Corolla, which will be released on June, 6. Corolla will likely have a bit more aggressive appearance, which was predicted in the Furia Concept.

Under the fresh piece of metal, many of the details are expected to be untouched. According to a leaked order manual, the 2014 Corolla will be powered by a 1.8-liter 4-cylinder motor that features the brand’s Valvematic continuously variable valve timing and lift option. The current Corolla is also powered by a 1.8-liter 4 cylinder, though that motor has only variable valve timing.

A 4-speed automatic is going to stay on as the vehicle’s base transmission, but a CVT will be optional.

Toyota informed Carsbase that the fresh Corolla will crack 40 mpg, and be a sportier driving experience than the automake’s current subcompact unit.
