First generation of the Volvo EX90 flagship electric 7-seat crossover SUV built on the SPA2 platform, produced since 2023.
The flagship Volvo EX90 three-row electric crossover SUV was presented in Stockholm in November 2022 and entered series production for 2023. Built on the dedicated SPA2 electric platform, it is produced as a 5-door crossover SUV with a 7-seat interior. It features a roof-mounted Luminar LiDAR sensor, 16 ultrasonic sensors, and NVIDIA Drive core computing architecture for next-generation autonomous driving.
Dual-motor AWD setups produce 408 hp in Twin Motor standard guise and 517 hp in Twin Motor Performance tune, fed by a 111 kWh battery pack enabling up to 600 km of range. It supports bi-directional charging capabilities for home and grid energy transfer.
