Volkswagen Touran II (5T) gallery (2015–present)
The second-generation Volkswagen Touran has been produced since 2015 on the MQB platform, blending space efficiency with digital comfort.
The second-generation Volkswagen Touran compact MPV with body code 5T debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2015. Transitioning to the modular MQB architecture allowed the vehicle to shed up to 62 kg of weight while expanding its wheelbase by 113 mm. This spatial growth translated into superior cabin room and increased cargo capacity. Available in five-seat and seven-seat configurations, the 5T features Volkswagen's Fold Flat seating system for maximum cargo utility.
Powertrain offerings for the Touran 5T include turbocharged gasoline engines ranging from the 1.2 TSI, 1.4 TSI, 1.5 TSI Evo to the 1.8 TSI, as well as 1.6 TDI and 2.0 TDI turbodiesel units. Drive is routed to the front wheels via six-speed manual or seven-speed DSG automatic gearboxes. Advanced amenities include three-zone Pure Air climate control, IQ.Drive safety suites, and expansive panoramic glass roofs.
