Vauxhall Corsa III (D) gallery (2006–2014)

The third-generation Vauxhall Corsa D was unveiled at the 2006 British International Motor Show in London. Developed on the joint GM/Fiat Small Common Core System (SCCS) platform shared with the Fiat Grande Punto, the car grew significantly in dimensions, exceeding four metres in overall length. Vauxhall created distinct designs for the two body styles: a sporty, coupe-like profile for the three-door and an upright, practical silhouette for the five-door hatchback. The engine lineup encompassed naturally aspirated 1.0, 1.2, and 1.4-litre petrol units, as well as a 1.4 Turbo, while performance enthusiasts received the flagship Corsa VXR powered by a 1.6-litre turbocharged unit making 192 hp (and up to 205 hp in the Nürburgring Edition). Turbo-diesel offerings comprised 1.3-litre and 1.7-litre CDTI units. A facelift for the 2011 model year brought a redesigned front fascia with eagle-eye daytime running lights, revised suspension geometry, a Touch & Connect infotainment system, and factory-fitted LPG fuel variants.
