The Toyota Grand Highlander full-size crossover SUV, designated AS10, debuted in February 2023 ahead of the Chicago Auto Show. Tailored specifically for the North American market, it fills the slot between the standard Highlander and the larger body-on-frame Sequoia. Constructed on a stretched version of the TNGA-K platform, the Grand Highlander boasts a longer wheelbase and a boxier roofline that delivers genuine adult-sized seating in all three rows along with up to 97.5 cubic feet of cargo space.
Engine choices comprise a 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder (265 hp), a 2.5-liter hybrid powertrain (245 hp), and the high-performance Hybrid MAX system generating 362 hp via a 2.4-liter turbo engine coupled with front and rear electric motors. Transmission offerings include an eight-speed automatic and an eCVT, with front-wheel drive and dynamic torque-vectoring all-wheel drive available.
