Subaru Libero II (FA/FJ) gallery (1993–1998)

Produced from 1993 to 1998, the second-generation Subaru Libero (FA/FJ code) featured a streamlined cab-over body design with enlarged glass areas and an optional 'SunSun Roof' panoramic glass top. Propulsion was provided by a rear-mounted 1.2-liter EF12 3-cylinder fuel-injected petrol engine (54–73 hp). The engineering setup effectively combined the low center of gravity inherent to the horizontally-opposed engine layout with a rigid chassis frame, delivering precise handling and composure across dry pavement and slippery surfaces alike. Engine bay packaging ensured optimal front-to-rear axle weight distribution alongside efficient thermal cooling under sustained driving loads.
