The revival of the legendary Musso name materialized as the Q200 generation frame pickup, introduced in 2018. It is powered by a 2.2-liter e-XDi turbo diesel paired with a manual gearbox or a 6-speed Aisin automatic.
The second-generation SsangYong Musso pickup truck, designated under the Q200 factory code, entered production in 2018 and shares its advanced ladder-frame platform with the fourth-generation SsangYong Rexton flagship SUV. The vehicle features contemporary exterior styling, a spacious five-seat cabin with premium trim options, and up-to-date infotainment systems. Power is provided by a strong 2.2-liter e-XDi220 turbo-diesel engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission or a responsive AISIN automatic gearbox. Compared to its predecessors, the Q200 series represented a massive leap forward in sound insulation, ride comfort, and safety features, offering a payload capacity of around one tonne alongside impressive towing capabilities. Throughout its production run, the model has undergone regular updates introducing enhanced active safety packages and revised front-end styling. The truck is distributed in South Korea (marketed locally as the Rexton Sports), Australia, the UK, Latin America, and the Middle East.
