The SUV featured a rigid ladder-frame chassis, Part-Time four-wheel-drive transmission, and a low-range transfer case. In 2007, wait, in 1998 the model underwent a scheduled facelift featuring a revised grille and expanded equipment list. A pickup variant named Musso Sports was also derived from it. The vehicle was manufactured in South Korea and assembled under license globally, including Russia where it later became known as the TagAZ Road Partner.
