About this generation

The third generation transitioned to a unibody platform, transforming into a modern crossover styled by Giorgetto Giugiaro.

The third-generation Korando, internally coded as C200, represented a paradigm shift by adopting a unibody structure and transforming into a modern compact crossover. Its contemporary styling was crafted by Italdesign Giugiaro. The vehicle utilized a front-wheel-drive or optional all-wheel-drive platform optimized for urban and light off-road use. Engine options featured newly developed e-XDi 2.0-liter diesel and petrol powerplants mated to six-speed manual or automatic transmissions. Throughout its lifecycle, the model underwent two significant facelifts in 2013 and 2017, updating the front fascia, interior materials, and safety equipment. It became a global volume seller for the brand, marketed in various regions under names like Korando C and New Actyon.
