The fourth-generation Fabia is built on the modern modular MQB-A0 platform.
The Fabia IV grew significantly, becoming the most spacious car in its class. Switching to the MQB-A0 platform improved body rigidity and introduced advanced safety technologies. The engine range consists exclusively of 1.0 and 1.5-liter TSI gasoline engines. The station wagon body style was discontinued in favor of the hatchback.
