Rolls-Royce Ghost I (RR4) gallery (2009–2020)

The first-generation Rolls-Royce Ghost, designated by the factory code RR4, debuted in 2009 as a slightly more compact and driver-focused alternative to the flagship Phantom. The luxury sedan was constructed on an extensively re-engineered BMW F01 platform, utilizing high-strength steel and aluminum alongside a sophisticated multi-link air suspension system with active anti-roll stabilization. It was powered by a 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine producing 570 horsepower, coupled with an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission that later integrated Satellite Aided Transmission technology. The lineup offered both standard and Extended Wheelbase (EWB) variants, alongside the high-performance Black Badge edition delivering 612 horsepower. In 2014, the Series II refresh introduced redesigned adaptive LED headlights, sculpted front bumpers, updated seating geometry, and an upgraded infotainment suite. The vehicle achieved widespread commercial success across key luxury markets worldwide, including North America, Europe, the Middle East, and mainland China.
