Rivian R1T II gallery (2024–present)

The second generation of the Rivian R1T, featuring a redesigned electronic architecture and optimized powertrain configurations.

The second generation of the Rivian R1T, introduced in 2024, features extensive hardware and software upgrades. The primary change lies in the redesigned zonal electronic architecture, which significantly reduces the number of electronic control units and enhances the overall efficiency of onboard systems. The powertrain lineup was revised to include a new in-house developed dual-motor configuration alongside the high-performance quad-motor system. Autonomous driving capabilities were significantly improved through the integration of new high-resolution cameras and more powerful compute chips.

Exterior updates are evolutionary, focusing on subtle modifications to the lighting signature and wheel designs to enhance aerodynamic efficiency. Inside, the infotainment interface graphics were refreshed, and new interior trim materials were introduced to align with sustainability goals. The vehicle platform underwent optimization to simplify manufacturing processes and improve component reliability. The updated charging system supports faster power intake, improving the long-distance travel experience. These comprehensive refinements have allowed the model to maintain its competitive edge in the rapidly evolving electric truck market segment.
