The fifth-generation Mitsubishi Delica D:5 (CV0W platform designation) launched in January 2007 on a high-rigidity unibody GS platform. Engineering of the Delica V (CV0W) (factory code CV0W) emphasized high structural rigidity, aerodynamic efficiency, and optimized interior spatial packaging. Built with reinforced body structures utilizing high-tensile steel alloys, the platform delivered reduced curb weight alongside improved occupant crash protection. The vehicle was distributed globally in multiple configuration packages designed to satisfy diverse market demands and regional regulatory specifications.

Engines feature 2.0L/2.4L petrol and a 2.2-liter 4N14 DI-D turbodiesel with AWC 4WD. Comprehensive Dynamic Shield facelift introduced in 2019.
