Lincoln Navigator III (U326) photos

The third-generation Lincoln Navigator, carrying the body code U326 (along with U418 for the extended-wheelbase Navigator L), debuted in 2006 for the 2007 model year on Ford's stiffened T1 body-on-frame platform. This generation introduced the extended Navigator L variant, offering class-leading third-row cargo capacity. Stylistically, it showcased retro-inspired cues, dominated by a large chrome egg-crate grille referencing classic 1960s Lincolns. Under the hood, early production units were powered by a 5.4-liter 3-valve Triton V8 producing 300 to 310 horsepower, paired with a 6-speed 6R75/6R80 automatic transmission. A comprehensive mid-cycle refresh for the 2015 model year replaced the naturally aspirated V8 with a potent 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 generating 380 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. The facelift also brought Lincoln's split-wing grille styling, upgraded LED illumination, continuously controlled damping, and modern infotainment. Sales expanded from North America and the Middle East into China.
