Lancia Ypsilon III gallery (2024–present)
The third-generation Ypsilon spearheads the renaissance of the Lancia brand across European electrified markets.
Officially unveiled in Milan in February 2024, the third-generation Lancia Ypsilon inaugurated the rebirth of the historic Italian marque under the Stellantis group. Built upon the multi-energy CMP/e-CMP platform shared with models like the Peugeot 208 and Alfa Romeo Junior, this generation grew into a true B-segment premium hatchback. The design language, dubbed Lancia Pu+Ra Design, incorporates striking heritage cues such as the glowing front chalice light signature, circular LED taillights inspired by the iconic Lancia Stratos, and a luxurious cabin featuring the multifunctional Tavolino central table and the S.A.L.A. (Sound Air Light Augmentation) infotainment interface. For the first time, the Ypsilon is offered as a full battery-electric vehicle (BEV) equipped with a 156-hp (115 kW) front electric motor and a 51 kWh battery providing a WLTP range of up to 403 km. A 48V mild-hybrid version (1.2 Ibrida, 100 hp) is also available, mated to a six-speed dual-clutch e-DCT transmission. Additionally, a high-performance HF electric hot hatch with lowered suspension and up to 280 hp was revealed. The third generation marks Lancia's official export expansion back into major continental European markets.
