The fourth and final generation of the Isuzu Aska was also derived from the Honda Accord, marking the end of the brand's passenger car era.
Debuting in November 1997, the fourth and final generation of the Isuzu Aska continued the badge-engineering partnership with Honda, mirroring the Accord and Torneo models. Versions equipped with 1.8-liter engines received the CJ2 body code, while 2.0-liter variants were coded as CJ3, generating outputs ranging from 140 to 150 horsepower. Transmission options included manual and automatic gearboxes paired with front-wheel or all-wheel-drive layouts. In June 2000, the sedan received a mid-cycle refresh featuring updated bumpers, revised taillights, and enhanced equipment levels. Production officially ceased in March 2002 as Isuzu completely withdrew from the passenger car market to focus entirely on commercial trucks and utility vehicles, concluding retail sales by September 2002.
