Isuzu Aska III (CJ1) gallery (1994–1997)
The third-generation Isuzu Aska was developed based on the Honda Accord sedan for the Japanese market.
Starting with the third generation introduced in March 1994, the Isuzu Aska shifted its foundation to Honda engineering through a supply agreement. Designated internally as CJ1, the model utilized the platform of the Honda Accord. It featured 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engines, front-wheel or all-wheel-drive configurations, and manual or automatic gearboxes. Cosmetic distinctions from the donor Honda model were limited to a redesigned front grille, unique badging, and interior trim details. The vehicle catered strictly to the Japanese domestic market, sustaining Isuzu's passenger car segment presence until production wrapped up in late 1997 in preparation for the final iteration.
