The first-generation Honda Legend (KA1–KA6) debuted in October 1985 as Honda's first V6-powered luxury flagship, engineered alongside Rover to enter executive markets. Offered as a sedan and coupe.
Engines included 2.0L, 2.5L, and 2.7L V6 engines (145–180 hp) mated to a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic. A 1988 update revised light clusters and suspension dampening.
