The third-generation Honda Insight (ZE4) launched in 2018, shifting to a premium 4-door sedan body constructed on the 10th-generation Civic platform architecture. The cabin offered high-end materials and digital displays.

Its two-motor hybrid system combined a 1.5-liter Atkinson-cycle engine with twin electric motors delivering 151 hp total output. Standard Honda Sensing provided full driver assistance.
